Official Opening of the North Cumbria Senior Attendance Centre

The High Sheriff of Cumbria, Mr James Carr had great pleasure in officially opening the North Cumbria Senior Attendance Centre at an open event this afternoon.

Recent Community Payback projects

Cumbria Probation Trust is involved in many Community Payback projects around the county. Here's an update on some of the projects that have recently been undertaken.

Offenders help to transform Kendal underpass
1st October 2010
In July and August 2010 Kendal offenders undertook 520 hours of unpaid work on a very unique project. They worked with the artist Shane Johnstone to transform the graffiti daubed, litter strewn underpass in Kendal into a world class piece of public art, which undoubtedly will become a tourist attraction for future generations.
