Residential Services Waking Night Supervisor

Applications are invited for the above post in Cumbria Probation Trust�s Bowling Green Approved Premises in Carlisle which provides enhanced supervision in a residential setting for up to 24 male adult offenders.

The successful applicant will be a member of the residential team led by the Manager responsible for the efficient running of the premises. Hours will be worked within a four week rota, involving evenings, nights, weekends and some day shifts. Enhanced payments will be made for working unsocial hours, where applicable.

Applicants should be tolerant and flexible in their approach to working with a potentially demanding resident group and have the ability to work under pressure, in accordance with strict service guidelines, and be able to demonstrate a high level of personal commitment and initiative. Experience of working with social services or voluntary organisations working with offenders or similar residential environments would be an advantage. Induction and further training will be made available, some of which will be mandatory. The successful applicant will be required to apply for a Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
